Ernest Callenbach

Ernest Callenbach (1929–2012) was an American writer, film critic, journalist, and university lecturer. He is best known for his novel Ecotopia, which was translated into numerous languages. He also founded the journal Film Quarterly at the University of California Press and lectured on ecological issues. Callenbach was born in Pennsylvania and died in Berkeley, California.
