Erik Schreiber

Erik Schreiber, born in Kassel in 1959, is an author and publisher. He trained as a chemical-technical assistant, industrial clerk and industrial business specialist, and worked, among other roles, as a technical commercial employee, firewall administrator, teacher of commercial subjects and dispatcher. In 2010 he founded Saphir im Stahl Verlag; in 2017, Scratch Verlag and Arcanum Fantasy Verlag were added to his publishing activities. Schreiber has published several novels and more than 150 short stories, some of which received prizes in competitions. In the 1970s, he published his own fanzine, which developed into the phantastische Bücherbrief, a publication devoted to fantastic literature.
