Erich Unglaub

Born in 1947, Erich Unglaub is a German scholar of German literature and comparative literature. He taught at the universities of Munich, Innsbruck, and Aarhus, and served as a professor of German literature in Flensburg and Braunschweig. Unglaub was also president of the International Rilke Society and is recognized as a specialist on the work of Rainer Maria Rilke. His publications include “Panther und Aschanti. Rilke-Gedichte in kulturwissenschaftlicher Sicht” (2005) and, co-authored with Wolfgang Conrad and Ernst-Ullrich Pinkert, “Brechts Söhne. Topographie, Biographie, Werk” (2008).
