Eric Wrede

Eric Wrede, born in 1980, studied German and history. After working as a DJ in Berlin, he became a music manager before changing careers and entering the funeral profession. In 2014, he founded the funeral service lebensnah Bestattungen. Wrede is the author of *The End – Das Buch vom Tod* (2018), which became a Spiegel bestseller. He has also written columns and contributed to a Radio 1 podcast about grief and death.
