Eric Berg

Eric Berg is the pen name of German author Eric Walz, who was born in 1966 in Königstein im Taunus. Before making writing his profession at the age of 35, he worked as a retail clerk and occasionally as a model. Under the name Eric Walz, he published historical novels, including his debut, The Mistress of the Popes. As Eric Berg, he began writing crime novels in 2013; his debut, The Fog House, and its sequel, The Coastal Grave, appeared on the SPIEGEL bestseller list. The Fog House was adapted for television in 2017.
