Enric Sala

Enric Sala is a marine ecologist and National Geographic Explorer-in-Residence. He founded National Geographic Pristine Seas, a global project dedicated to protecting the ocean’s last wild places. Under his involvement, the project contributed to the creation of 22 marine protected areas covering nearly six million square kilometers.
