Emily Haber

Dr. Emily Margarethe Haber is a German diplomat. From 2018 to 2023, she served as Germany’s ambassador to the United States. She was appointed Political Director at the Federal Foreign Office in 2009 and State Secretary there in 2011. From 2014 to 2018, she served as State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of the Interior, where she was responsible for internal security and migration policy.
