Emily Barr

Emily Barr worked as a journalist in London before turning to writing. She published several thrillers for adults; her young adult debut, *Jeder Tag kann der schönste in deinem Leben werden*, was translated into 27 languages. She received the WH Smith Talent Award for her work. As a child, she listened at night to her father writing novels on an old typewriter, an experience that inspired her to write herself.
