Ellen Sandberg

Ellen Sandberg is the pen name of the Munich author Inge Löhnig. She initially worked in advertising before turning to writing. As Ellen Sandberg, she published psychological suspense and family novels, including *Die Vergessenen*, *Der Verrat*, *Das Erbe*, *Die Schweigende* and *Das Unrecht*. Many of her novels appeared on the SPIEGEL bestseller list. In 2022, she received the Constitutional Order of the Free State of Bavaria. Under her real name, she also wrote crime novels.
