Ella Berthoud

Ella Berthoud studied literature at Cambridge, where she and Susan Elderkin were already recommending novels to each other. She subsequently turned to art and writing. Berthoud worked as an artist, writer and bibliotherapist for the School of Life. From 2008, she and Elderkin offered bibliotherapy sessions there. She also collaborated with the World Economic Forum, the Guardian and The New Yorker, and co-authored a column for the Independent.
