Elke Bergsma (born 1968) grew up in East Frisia. In 2013, she published her first two crime novels set in the region, “Windbruch” and “Das Teekomplott.” Her work also includes other crime novels, historical novels, and romances. In 2017, she was a finalist for the Kindle Storyteller Award, and in 2020 she received the Skoutz Award. Inspired by Enid Blyton’s books, Bergsma already wanted to become a writer as a child.
