Elizabeth Prommer

Elizabeth Prommer is an American scholar of communication and media studies and a professor. She studied in Los Angeles, Munich and Leipzig and taught at the University of Vienna and the Konrad Wolf University of Film and Television in Potsdam. Her research and publications focus on the relationship between media, media reception and society, particularly audiovisual media. Among other topics, she has published studies on the use of online and mobile media and on the visibility of women in film and television.
