Elise Schmit

Elise Schmit was born in Luxembourg in 1982 and studied German and philosophy at the University of Tübingen. Her writing received several awards at Luxembourg’s Concours littéraire national, including for the short story “Im Zug.” Her story collection *Stürze aus unterschiedlichen Fallhöhen* was her first standalone book publication and received the Prix Servais in 2019, one of Luxembourg’s major literary awards.
