Elise Gravel

Elise Gravel (born 1977) is a Canadian children’s author and illustrator from Montreal. She studied graphic design at CEGEP in Montreal and writes her books in both English and French. Her works have been translated into several languages. In 2012, she received the Governor General’s Award; in 2022, she was awarded the Vicky Metcalf Award for her body of work in children’s literature.
