Elisabeth Skale

Elisabeth Skale, MD, was a psychiatrist and a psychoanalyst affiliated with the Vienna Psychoanalytic Society (WPV) and the International Psychoanalytical Association (IPA). She was a training analyst of the WPV, worked in private practice and at the Vienna Psychoanalytic Outpatient Clinic, and chaired the WPV’s teaching committee. Her publications addressed the initial psychoanalytic interview as well as the theory, technique, and clinical practice of psychoanalysis.
