Elisabeth Leopold

Elisabeth Leopold was a co-founder and board member of the Leopold Museum in Vienna. She curated numerous exhibitions and published numerous articles on art and culture in Vienna around 1900. She is recognized as an expert on the work of Egon Schiele and edited, among other publications, the artist’s catalogue raisonné. She and her husband shared a passion for collecting art.
