Elisabeth Badinter

Elisabeth Badinter was a professor of philosophy at the École Polytechnique in Paris. Her fields of research included the Enlightenment and women’s history. She was the mother of three children. Her books »Mutterliebe. Geschichte eines Gefühls« and »Ich bin Du. Auf dem Weg in die androgyne Gesellschaft« became bestsellers in Germany. »Der Konflikt« reached number one on the French bestseller list shortly after publication and sparked an international debate.
