Elinor Cleghorn

Elinor Cleghorn holds a doctorate in cultural history and is a feminist. She worked on a medical humanities research project at the University of Oxford. Personal experiences prompted her research for her book *The Sick Woman*, which examines the history of medicine and the treatment of women’s illness.
