Elias Khoury

Elias Khoury (1948–2024) was born in Beirut and worked as a novelist, playwright, literary critic, and editor. He was an activist with the Palestinian Fatah movement and was regarded as one of the influential writers and intellectuals of the Arab world. His work includes, among other publications, ten novels and three plays. Khoury died on September 15, 2024.
