Eliane Retz earned her doctorate at the Chair of General Pedagogy and Educational Research at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. She worked for several years as a researcher specializing in parent and family education and is a trained systemic counsellor. As an author, she has written guides for adults as well as children’s books, including the picture-book series about Strubbel the squirrel and his parents. Her professional work has focused on attachment and developmental issues and on supporting parents and educational professionals. Eliane Retz is the mother of two children.
