Eleanor Nairne worked as a curator at the Barbican Art Gallery in London and previously worked with the Artangel Collection at Tate. Her exhibitions there included “Basquiat: Boom for Real” (2017), “Lee Krasner: Living Colour” (2019), “Jean Dubuffet: Brutal Beauty” (2021), and “Alice Neel: Hot Off The Griddle” (2023). Nairne specialised in the visual and performing arts after 1960 and published essays in exhibition catalogues and art magazines including frieze.
