Elaine N. Aron

Elaine N. Aron was an American psychotherapist, university professor, and author. In her long-standing research and counseling work, she focused particularly on high sensitivity and the psychology of love and relationships. Aron was highly sensitive herself and wrote several books on the subject, including *Sind Sie hochsensibel?*, *Hochsensibilität in der Liebe*, and *Das hochsensible Kind*. She was described as a pioneer in research on high sensitivity.
