Eileen Myles

Eileen Myles (born 1949) is an American writer and poet. Myles moved to New York in the mid-1970s, studied at the St. Mark’s Poetry Project, and took over its direction about a decade later. Myles has published more than twenty books, including poetry, novels, and essays. The work has received numerous awards and prestigious fellowships.
