Eiji Otsuka

Eiji Otsuka was born in 1958 in Tokyo Prefecture. He became known in the Western comics market primarily for the manga series MPD Psycho. In addition to creating manga, he wrote nonfiction about manga, including works on Osamu Tezuka and Shotaro Ishinomori. His other fields of work included film theory, with topics such as Sergei Eisenstein and Walt Disney, as well as teaching as a professor at Kobe Design University.
