Eiichiro Oda

Eiichiro Oda was born in 1975 in Japan’s Kumamoto Prefecture. During his school years, he created the short-story collection “WANTED!”, which won second prize at the 44th Tezuka Award in 1992. After working as an assistant manga artist, he made his debut in 1997 with “ONE PIECE” in Weekly Shōnen Jump. The series was adapted into several media, including anime, feature films, and video games.
