Edgar Grande, born in 1956 in Schwendi, is a political scientist. From 2004 to 2017, he was Professor of Comparative Politics at the Geschwister-Scholl Institute of Political Science at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. From 2017, he served as founding director of the Centre for Civil Society Research at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center.
