Eckart zur Nieden

Eckart zur Nieden (born 1939) initially trained in a technical field and later studied theology. He then spent five years working for a missionary organization. In 1969, he joined Evangeliums-Rundfunk (ERF) in Wetzlar, where he worked until 2004, among other roles as a radio editor, editor, and member of the programming department. He also helped establish the broadcaster’s television department. Alongside his work at ERF, zur Nieden wrote books and radio plays for children and adults. His work includes numerous publications, among them more than 30 children’s radio plays and over 50 books.
