E. V. Ring is the pseudonym of a person based in Vienna who tunes pianos, makes music, and has written fiction since childhood. Before turning to writing, they performed on musical theatre stages. Their novel debut, “Cyan Zane Veil,” the first volume in the Maschinenmacht series, was nominated for the 2023 SERAPH and received the 2023/24 Selfpublishing Book Award.
