E. M. Forster

E. M. Forster (1879–1970) was an English novelist and essayist. His best-known novels include *A Room with a View*, *Howards End* and *Maurice*. In *Maurice*, he addressed the subject of homosexuality, which was taboo at the time. Forster kept the novel secret for almost half a century, and it was published only after his death.
