Dr. Andrea Schaller

Dr Andrea Schaller was born in Bayreuth in 1968. She studied art history, German studies and history in Regensburg and Marburg, and completed her doctorate in Hamburg. After working as a German teacher in Italy, at a publishing house in Leipzig and as a museum trainee in Stuttgart, she spent around ten years on the editorial staff of a major encyclopedia of artists. From 2011 onward, she worked as a freelance author of nonfiction books for children and young adults, as well as an editor and copy editor of schoolbooks, art books, scholarly publications and exhibition catalogues.
