Dorte Huneke

Born in 1975, Dorte Huneke studied English, American Studies and Modern German Literature in Bonn and Berlin. From 2001 onward, she worked as a freelance author and translator. In 2004, she co-authored the study “Is Life Easier as a Turk in Berlin or as a Pakistani in Bradford?” with Roger Boyes. She also wrote the catalogue for the travelling exhibition “Memories of a New Homeland” (Istanbul, 2010). In 2010, she became managing director and project coordinator of the KulturForum TürkeiDeutschland in Cologne.
