Donna W. Cross

Donna Woolfolk Cross, born in New York City in 1947, is an American writer. After studying English literature, she worked in publishing, among other fields. Before publishing her first novel, she wrote nonfiction books and guides on conversation training and communication. Her historical novel “Pope Joan” was published in 1996 and was later adapted as a feature film and a musical.
