Donald Spoto

Donald Spoto (born in 1941) studied theology, philosophy and classical antiquity. Before becoming an author, he taught theology for twenty years. He became known for biographies of figures including Alfred Hitchcock, Tennessee Williams, Marlene Dietrich, Laurence Olivier, Ingrid Bergman and Marilyn Monroe.
