Dominik Bauer

Born in 1978, Dominik Bauer is a cartoon writer and author. Together with illustrator Elias Hauck, he forms the duo Hauck & Bauer. Their work has appeared in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung, including the series “Am Rande der Gesellschaft,” as well as in Titanic, Spiegel Online and Apotheken Umschau. Their publications include “Ist das noch Entspannung oder schon Langeweile?” (2018) and “Cartoons” (2020), both published by Kunstmann. Hauck & Bauer received the Jury’s Special Prize at the German Cartoon Prize in 2018 and the Sondermann Prize for Comic Art in 2021.
