DiMartino Michael Dante

Michael Dante DiMartino is an American screenwriter and director. Together with Bryan Konietzko, he co-created the animated series “Avatar: The Last Airbender” and “The Legend of Korra”; he also worked as a producer and story editor on both productions. DiMartino was born in Shelburne, Vermont, and studied at the Rhode Island School of Design, where he met Konietzko. His work on “Avatar” and “Korra” led to additional films, video games, books, and comics.
