Dieter Hattrup

Dieter Hattrup (born 1948) studied mathematics, physics, and Catholic theology. He received a doctorate in mathematics in 1978. After his ordination to the priesthood in 1980, he earned a doctorate in theology and completed his habilitation by 1990. From 1991 until his retirement in 2018, he was Professor of Dogmatics and the History of Dogma in Paderborn. His publications include *Einstein und der würfelnde Gott*, *Darwins Zufall, oder, Wie Gott die Welt erschuf*, and *Gottbekenntnisse großer Naturforscher*.
