Dierk Hirschel

Dierk Hirschel (born 1970) holds a doctorate in economics (Dr. rer. pol.). From 2003 to 2010, he was chief economist of the German Trade Union Confederation (DGB). In 2010, he became chief economist of the United Services Union (ver.di). In 2012, he joined the SPD Commission on Fundamental Values.
