Derek Thompson

Derek Thompson is an American journalist and editor. He worked as an editor at The Atlantic and as a business correspondent for the NPR radio network, including its program “Here and Now.” He also appeared as an economics commentator on U.S. television and hosted the podcast “Plain English.” Thompson was included in the Huffington Post’s list of the “100 Best Economic Reporters” and Forbes’ “30 Under 30” selection.
