Denis-Pierre Filippi (born 1972) is a French comic-book writer. He began writing scripts at the age of 18. In 1995, he met artist Tiburce Oger, for whom he wrote the fantasy story “Orull,” published as an album in 1998. Filippi subsequently worked with artists including Sandrine Revel and Tatiana Domas, and created the fantasy albums “Le livre de Jack” (2000) and “Le livre de Sam” (2002) with O.G. Boiscommun. His other notable series and albums include “Ethan Ringler” and “Le Nouveau Monde,” both with Gilles Mezzomo, “Les corsaires d’Alcibiade” with Eric Liberge, “Nefesis” with Silvio Camboni, and “Songes” with Terry Dodson.
