Deepti Kapoor

Deepti Kapoor was born in 1980 in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. She studied journalism in New Delhi and worked as a journalist for ten years. In 2014, she published her debut novel, *A Bad Character*, which explores female desire in a restrictive and misogynistic society. *Age of Vice* was her first book to be published in German.
