Dee Brown

Dee Brown (1908–2002) was an American historian and writer. His life’s work focused on the history of Native Americans. He became particularly well known for his book *Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee* (1970), which presented the conquest of the American West from the perspective of Indigenous peoples.
