Dean Ruddock studied linguistics as well as popular music and media at Paderborn University. He has been active in poetry slam since 2009 and has also worked as a writer, musician and producer of poetry films. He organized and hosted his own events, including the “Lyriker Lounge”, and gave poetry-slam workshops in cooperation with Lektora Verlag. Together with the poetry slammer Fatima Moumouni, he developed and led workshops addressing racism in Germany and Switzerland.
