De Sade is a guitarist and music producer, as well as the author of his own cyberpunk-fantasy world, Fabula Ensis. His engagement with fantasy and science fiction began in childhood and was influenced, among other things, by The Dark Eye, Dungeons & Dragons, and vampire stories. The story featuring the characters Kiaji and Jin developed over a period of around 20 years and is described as a personal passion project.
