Dayal Patterson

Dayal Patterson is a British author and the founder of the publishing house Cult Never Dies. He began working in the metal scene by self-publishing the fanzine Crypt, for which he also took photographs. Patterson contributed to publications including Metal Hammer, Record Collector, The Quietus, Terrorizer, Classic Rock Presents, and Decibel. His books include several nonfiction works on heavy metal, among them Black Metal: Evolution of the Cult. He has also written biographies and liner notes for artists such as Marduk and Killing Joke.
