David Sheff

David Sheff is an American author and journalist. His articles and interviews appeared in publications including the New York Times, Outside, Rolling Stone, Wired, and Fortune. His New York Times Magazine article “My Addicted Son” received an award from the American Psychological Association for its contribution to understanding addiction. Sheff developed the subject further in his book “Beautiful Boy,” which became a No. 1 New York Times bestseller and was adapted into a film starring Steve Carell and Timothée Chalamet. In 1980, Sheff interviewed Yoko Ono and John Lennon shortly before Lennon’s death.
