David Sedaris was born in 1956 in Johnson City, New York, and grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina. He is an author who contributed, among other publications, to The New Yorker and BBC Radio 4. Books such as “Naked,” “Fuselfieber,” “Ich ein Tag sprechen hübsch” and “Schöner wird’s nicht” established him as a bestselling author. His other notable works include “Das Leben ist kein Streichelzoo. Fiese Fabeln,” “Sprechen wir über Eulen – und Diabetes,” “Calypso” and “Bitte lächeln!”, as well as the diaries “Wer’s findet, dem gehört’s” and “Kleine Happen”.
