David Schraven

David Schraven is a German journalist and author. He worked for publications including die taz, Süddeutsche Zeitung and the Welt group, and was responsible for the investigative section at the WAZ publishing group. He was also one of the co-founders of the blog Ruhrbarone. Schraven founded the investigative journalism center CORRECTIV and led it as its publisher. He received several awards for his journalistic work. Fishing was among his personal interests.
