David Rieff

David Rieff, born in 1952, is a political writer and journalist. He has published articles about conflict zones around the world in outlets including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, El País, and Le Monde. Rieff is the only son of the writer Susan Sontag and the sociologist Philip Rieff.
