Born in Yorkshire in 1967, David Peace is a British writer. He achieved his literary breakthrough with the critically acclaimed Red Riding Quartet. His novels have received several awards, including the Grand Prix du Roman Noir, the James Tait Black Memorial Prize and the German Crime Fiction Prize, which he won three times. He was also the only crime writer to be included in the renowned Granta’s List of Best Young British Novelists.
