David Harvey

David Harvey (born 1935) is a social scientist and geographer. He has taught at institutions including the University of Oxford, Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, and the London School of Economics, and served as a lecturer at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. His widely published works include »Der neue Imperialismus« (2005), »Räume der Neoliberalisierung« (2007), and »Marx’ »Kapital« lesen. Ein Begleiter für Fortgeschrittene und Einsteiger« (2011). Other publications address the second volume of »Capital« and the urban roots of the financial crisis.
